2011 Sony Nex Products - I like what they are doing
I don't have a any of these NEX cameras, but I've been tempted. I like that Sony is pushing the boundaries and trying to be creative and push new product. I like the Nex- VG20 new camera sensor in a camcorder body as well. That just makes sense.
Its disappointing to see Canon be a laggard in new middle to high end products lately.
What I want to see in the Canon 5D Mark3
All these rumors are next to useless. I'm jaded now from the Canonrumors website.
I have a 5D Mark 2, and I would like to see the following fixed:
1) Better focusing
2) Better noise mgmt at high iso
3) True autofocus for video.
4) All around weather sealing
5) Little bump up in frames per second.
6) Don't split the lines between a full frame leading camera and leader in video.
7) USB 3 or thunderbolt
Don't care to much about overly fancy screens. I just want the image quality to be awesome.
Nice to haves:
a) backup slot for an SD card in addition to CF.
b) Lower price than before.
c) Compatibility with all my old attachments/accessories.

Viewing magazines on an Ipad
I love viewing magazines on my iPad. Having the ability to have all of them in one spot and not in a pile in the corner of your house is a great thing. The problems with the success of magazines on iPad have been the following:
1) The software to view the magazines isn't standardized and generally is really bad code.
2) Navigation isn't uniform between magazine brands.
3) It is difficult to find a magazine in the App Store. This needs to be centralized further. ( I read IOS 5 may help with this.)
4) I don't want sound and video in my magazine.
5) Pricing is odd. Some give free samples before you buy, other allow single magazine purchases, others require a full year subscription before I can see any content.
6) There isn't any easy way to archive an old magazine.
Here is a video I did on it: http://youtu.be/UguAtDjk8q4

Strider PT vs Small Sebenza
Comparison or the Strider PT vs Small Sebenza. The build quality is better in the sebenza, but my PT is actually put together pretty well. Overall I prefer the small sebenza as there is a little more cutting surface and stability in use.
